Friday Playdate – meet homeschoolers!

Week Two: – visit Along the Way! Cindy wants to know if quiet time happens in your home!
Week One: visit Fifth Street Mama!
Sarah has a great question concerning transitioning with a 3rd baby!

This May marks The Homeschool Village one year anniversary! We love connecting homeschoolers and offering opportunities to meet new ones.   But what fun is sharing a list of homeschoolers – if no one stops by your blog? We have greatly enjoyed the wealth of insight shared by panel members (37 ladies total).  But all my questions are being answered and none of yours!!

We have a new idea  for connecting homeschoolers and opening the panel – The HSV Playdate! Every Monday we will announce a homeschool blogger who will host the Friday Playdate on their site!

On Friday the “hostess” will introduce themselves, share a family photo, etc. and then ask their personal homeschool question(s)! Wondering which math curriculum is best, how to entertain a toddler, what’s so great about notebooking, or when to teach anatomy??

We want our community to help each other and offer whatever advice / encouragement they can! There is so much homeschooling wisdom among you. What better way to easily minister to another homeschooler than by simply sharing advice in a comment… exchanging ideas in one another’s virtual homes just as we would over a cup of coffee? Now everyone can be on “the panel” by participating in the Playdate, asking and answering questions in the Village!

Each Monday we will post the Playdate “address” (a.k.a. button) on our sidebar and remind our community each Friday to drop by, meet a new homeschool blogger, and help share some homeschool wisdom.

If you have a homeschool question you would like answered and are interested in being a “hostess” for the Playdate - please link up your blog below, and we will contact you! (We will only consider family- friendly, active homeschoolers to host the playdate. GFC / subscriber numbers do not matter – any blog, shape, or design is welcome to participate.  If you participate in another homeschool community,  you are welcome to participate.  Your blog does not have to be solely about homeschooling but have a portion dedicated to it to be considered).

Thanks!  We look forward to seeing you at your place,
Stef & Susan
